CryptoYield Privacy Policy

We collect account data (name, email, password, country, phone, preferred display currency) from all customers. United States customers must also provide date of birth, residential address, occupation, employer, driver's license front and back, a selfie holding that ID, and a completed IRS Form W-9.

We do not provide a Social Security number field. A taxpayer identification number may appear on the uploaded W-9 and is treated as sensitive tax information.

We also process deposit amounts, currency codes, exchange-rate snapshots, balances, and yield credits to operate conversions and statements.

Purposes: identity verification, fraud prevention, account administration, currency conversion, tax documentation, legal recordkeeping. We do not sell personal information. We do not use licenses, selfies, or W-9s for marketing or AI training. Photos are reviewed manually; no facial-recognition templates.

18+ for US onboarding. Deposits locked until admin approval.

You can see KYC status and document types on file. Only administrators can open files. Document views and downloads are logged.

Retention: rejected files may be deleted after review. Approved W-9 and ID files are kept as required for tax and legal records. Access, correction, and deletion requests are accepted; deletion of approved tax/identity records may be limited by law.

Security: HTTPS, private file storage, admin-only dossiers.

Cookies: essential for login; others opt-in.

California-style statement: we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context ads. ID images, W-9s, and financials are used only for verification, operations, FX/accounting, and compliance.
